If you are hiring a car, all the usual suspects have at least one booths at the airport (most have more), including Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt. Budget Car Hire has a booth available within terminal 2, for anyone who has arranged this in advance.
Don’t be embarrassed to barter a bit: the companies know they have plenty of competition so you might be able to squeeze out a good deal.
It is very easy to get to CDG from Paris by car: simply take the A1 via Porte de la Chapelle and follow the signs for the airport. Alternatively, take the A3 via Porte de Bagnolet and then join the A1. Going the other way is even easier: just follow the signs south, for Paris. Oh, and remember: drive on the right!
Car Drop Off
The drop-off car parks at CDG Airport are located as closely as possible to the departures and arrivals terminals, with no parking being allowed outside the terminals. The ones in question are the open-air car parks adjoining Terminals 1, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2G and 3, which are but a 1 minute walk away from their respective terminals.
