Airport Taxis

The easiest – but most expensive – way to get to Paris from CDG is by taxi. However, after 1am it is the only service available, apart from one reduced bus service, so bear that in mind when you book flights to the airport.

There are two types of taxi : Parisian taxis, which operate to the city and the départements of Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne, and suburban taxis, which operate to the city and the départements of Essonne, Val-d’Oise, Yvelines and Seine-et-Marne. Taxi ranks can be found at the exits near baggage reclaim points, including terminal 1 exit 20, terminals 2A and 2C exit 6, terminals 2B and 2D exit 7 and terminals 2E and 2F exit 1.

A journey to the centre of Paris or Orly airport will cost about €50. Expect to pay around 15 per cent more at the weekend, between 7pm and 7am in the morning (suburban Taxis) or between 5pm and 10am (Parisian taxis). Suburban companies include ABC Taxis; Parisian companies include Alpha Taxis, Taxis G7 and Les Taxis Bleus.
