The Holiday Inn at CDG is a three-storey hotel just outside the airport complex next to several other well-known hotels.
Location
Located in the clump of hotels just outside the airport in Roissy-en-France itself, the hotel has a regular airport shuttle, running every 15 minutes from 5.00am to 00.30am (every 25 minutes at the weekend). Outside of these hours, the shuttle can be requested.
Rooms
All 123 rooms are soundproofed and come with free wireless internet access and a complimentary newspaper. There are three types: guest rooms, executive club rooms and suites. Executive rooms are a little bigger and more comfortable, as guests’ bathrooms come with a bath (as opposed to simply a shower), bathrobe and free drinks and a mini-fridge are provided. There are rooms for disabled guests.
Facilities
There is a dedicated business centre with a fax machine, photocopier, printer and the usual business essentials. There is also a small meeting room, for a maximum of six people. Wifi is available throughout the hotel but it priced at €15 an hour. Wired internet is available free.
The restaurant, Entre Ciel et Terre, serves French and International cuisine.Children eat for free in the restaurant, where a free buffet breakfast is available between 6am and 10am. There is a bar too.
Check-in at the hotel is 2pm; check-out is noon.
Parking
There is an indoor and an outdoor car park, with a total of 100 spaces. It costs €18 a day and is available only to guests.
Planespotting
The hotel is just outside the airport itself so you won’t be able to see any planes manoeuvring close-up, but take-offs and landings will be very visible.
