Ibis Hotels is a budget hotel chain owned by massive French conglomerate Accor.
Location
The hotel is just outside the airport complex, but free airport shuttle buses connect most hotels – catch the red and white bus. Its regular runs stop around midnight but it operates on request at any time. However, if you are flying from or arriving into terminal 3, it’s only a five minute walk.
Rooms
The hotel’s 304 rooms are all fairly basic and compact, but they are en-suite. Five disabled access rooms are available. Rooms are wifi connected, but charges apply. The rooms are not soundproofed.
Facilities
The bar serves hot snacks and drinks 24 hours a day. The restaurant, L’Escale, is open from noon until 2pm and 7pm until 10.30pm. Continental buffet breakfast is served from 6am until 10.00am. A more basic breakfast is served from 4.30am to 6.00am and from 10.00am to noon. Wifi is charged throughout the hotel.
There are 12 meeting rooms.
Parking
Private outdoor parking is available for 105 cars but must be paid for.
Planespotting
The hotel is not in the airport complex so is not great for close-up planespotting, but plenty of planes land and take off nearby.
