Location
The hotel is served by one of the airport’s free shuttle buses, which operate seven days a week and run every 15 to 20 minutes between 6.00am and 11.30pm, and on request at other times. The shuttle leaves from Aérogare 2, in terminal 2.
Alternatively, you can take the CDGVal and alight at Roissypôle.
Rooms
There are 385 rooms, split into four types: guests rooms, suites, executive rooms and executive rooms plus. They are all very spacious – guests rooms, the smallest rooms, are 33m² – and decorated in warms tones of brown and beige. The executive rooms are tailored for businesspeople, offering free continental breakfast for those in a rush, and the suites, on the eighth floor, have triple glazed windows and a lounge and dining area. All bathrooms are en-suite and marble.
The hotel is wheelchair accessible.
Facilities
Check-in at the hotel is 2pm, check-out noon. If you want to take a trip to Paris, the airport has excellent train and coach links, or you can hire a car from the hotel’s rental desk.
There is a large indoor pool, sauna and steam room, and a fitness centre five minutes away.
The open-plan restaurant, Les Aviateurs, is open from 6am from breakfast and shuts at 11pm every day. It is situated under the huge glass atrium of the hotel. There is also a bar, La Caravelle, open from 8am to 1am Monday to Friday and from 1pm to 11pm at the weekend
There are 24 business rooms, catering for two to 850 people. Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel at €12 an hour. Small pets, under 22lbs (!), are accepted.
Parking
Parking in a secured, covered parking lot is available for €29 a day.
Planespotting
Paris Charles De Gaulle is ideally placed for plane spotting. Try and get a room on the fourth floor or above which ends in 1, 3, 5, 7 or 29. These rooms offer a great view of the two taxiways that link terminals 1 and 2.
